KAIDEN QUINN
FILMMAKER · FOUNDER OF QUINN STUDIOS
Hey, I’m Kaiden Quinn, a filmmaker based in Singapore and the founder of Quinn Studios.
I’ve wanted to make films for as long as I can remember. I started with stop-motion animations using my toys, then moved in front of the camera, acting in local productions for Mediacorp, Viddsee and Lion Moms on Netflix. Being on real sets made me want to be the one behind the camera, so I started convincing my friends to make action films with me for my YouTube channel. That led me to study IB Film at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), where I also founded the school’s Stop-Motion Club.
Since graduating, I’ve found my favourite genre: crime fiction. I’ve always been interested in exploring the darker side of human nature and what pushes people to do morally ambiguous things. I write, direct, shoot and edit my own short films, including Snatch and Grab, a 17-minute crime thriller about a lonely Grab driver drawn into a string of robberies, and Flesh and Blood, a 25-minute psychological thriller about an estranged father and son forced to confront their past after a deadly accident.
Through Quinn Studios, I also create videos for clients, including promotional campaigns and website content for Quinntessential Coaching, video and sound for the Quinntessential Questions podcast (now in the top 15% of video podcasts globally on Spotify), and short-form content for musicians and creators. I’ve also worked as a production assistant at Playfilms.
What I can do for you: I can take your project from first idea to finished video: conceptualising, scriptwriting, filming and editing.
My goal is to tell the stories other people don’t think are possible. If you have a story to tell or a project in mind, I’d love to hear from you. You can also follow my work on Instagram and YouTube.
